Sutton-at-Hone Church of England Primary School joined as a member of Aletheia Academies Trust in 2017.
Aletheia is committed to sustaining high-quality schools, and supporting schools in need of specific improvement in some of the more challenging wards in Kent. Our focus is to provide school improvement services that draw on the wealth of practice from across our trust, broaden the expertise available to schools through flexible working arrangements and increase our capacity to quickly respond to the needs of individual schools. Pedagogical excellence is at the heart of all we do with a sustained focus on collaborative and mastery learning.

Our Year 4 footballers played their first matches in the Dartford League yesterday. They played well as a team and made a great start. Well done and we look forward to seeing how they progress as the League continues.
Our boys and girls football teams played a friendly against The Brent. The girls won and the boys were beaten in a tight match. Well done to both teams on another great performance.
Congratulations to our SAH children for taking part in the Mini London Marathon. They were all fantastic. Well done SAH!
In PE this term, Year 6 have been learning how to play Quidditch. They have learnt how to defend, attack and score with great skill. A great game which was enjoyed by all of the children.
Our Year 6 girls took part in a Hockey Carnival and had a great time learning new hockey skills and then putting them into practice in some matches. They looked great in pink and thoroughly enjoyed themselves and got into the spirit of the tournament. Well done Sutton!
Children at SAH took part in an Easter Egg Extravaganza Orienteering day last week. They had to find their way to the golden egg. Well done to Hudson and Kai who were the first to find it in Year 6. All children had a good time hunting the egg.
